Key Duties and Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable cum General Cashier
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare AR aging reports and support month- end closing procedures.
Update and maintain AR records, customer profiles, and payment history accurately.
Coordinate with other departments (Front Office, Sales, F&B) regarding billing issues or adjustments.
Issue invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments in a timely manner.
Reconcile daily receipts, ensure proper documentation, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and internal control procedures.
Collect, verify, and record daily revenues from all outlets.
General Cashier
Collect, count, and verify daily cash drops from all cash- handling departments.
Monitor cashiering procedures across departments and report any irregularities.
Deposit daily cash collections to the bank and maintain bank deposit records.
Prepare daily General Cashier Report and submit it to the Finance Manager.
Ensure all cash- handling activities comply with hotel policies and audit standards.
Maintain the hotel’s petty cash float and process petty cash reimbursements with proper supporting documents.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information.
Support internal and external audits when required.
Perform any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor or Finance Manager.

Job Requirements – Accounts Receivable cum General Cashier.
Education & Qualification
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and hotel financial procedures.
College or Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or cashiering; experience in hospitality is an advantage.
Familiarity with hotel PMS, POS systems, and accounting software is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good organizational and time- management skills.
Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Customer- service mindset when dealing with internal departments and external clients.
