Accounting Manager

Overview: Manage and direct all Finance & Accounting operations of Kamereo, with COST MANAGEMENT, CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT, and OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY as the core priorities. Build and implement Kamereo&039;s finance strategy — focusing on accounting & tax compliance, internal controls, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), working capital management, process improvement (Kaizen), and team development.
Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Cash Flow (Core Priority)
Advise the CEO and leadership team on strategic financial decisions.
Manage and improve cash flow by collaborating closely with sales and supply chain teams; track and optimize key metrics: DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), DPO (Days Payable Outstanding), and working capital cycle.
Prepare business cases for investments; calculate the financial impact of management decisions on the business plan.
Own Kamereo&039;s cost management strategy — analyze, control, and optimize OPEX and CAPEX across the company.
Plan budgets for all business units, profit centers, and cost centers; monitor execution and analyze variances.
Accounting, Tax & Compliance
Review monthly/quarterly tax declarations (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT); ensure timely filings and payments to authorities.
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial reporting, and prevent fraud risks.
Ensure the accounting department operates in full compliance with Vietnamese law and the Company&039;s internal regulations.
Review General Ledgers monthly and per period; check Financial Statements and accompanying notes.
Lead annual audits and year- end tax finalization; work with external auditors and tax authorities.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement (Core Priority)
Deliver monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders: define report structure, manage regular outputs, conduct analysis.
Manage, develop, and automate the ERP / accounting software systems; leverage technology to reduce manual tasks, boost productivity, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Continuously improve (Kaizen) Finance & Accounting processes: sales collection, payments, data management, reporting — aiming for faster, more accurate, error- free operations.
Team Management
Manage, coach, and develop the Accounting- Finance team; set goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
Participate in other relevant projects assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor&039;s degree or above (Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or equivalent).
REQUIRED: Proven track record in cost management, cash flow management, and process improvement.
Experience in startup/scale- up environments preferred; F&B, retail, supply chain, or tech industries is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with at least 2 years in a management / team lead role.
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) are a major advantage.
Skills & Attributes
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; data- driven decision- making.
Stakeholder management skills — able to work effectively with auditors, tax authorities, banks, suppliers, and internal teams.
Deep understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), IFRS, and Vietnamese tax laws.
Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to explain complex financial matters to non- finance audiences (CEO, other department heads).
Business- level English; fluent in Vietnamese.
Integrity, prudence, accuracy; hardworking, persistent, trustworthy.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; proficient in accounting software (MISA, Fast, Bravo, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and ERP systems.
Proactive problem identification and systematic problem- solving — able to spot financial risks before they escalate into crises.
Familiarity with and willingness to apply AI tools to Finance & Accounting work (data analysis, report automation, invoice processing) is a plus.
Kaizen mindset — continuous improvement in every aspect of the work.
