Android Developer

A division of FPT Corporation, FPT Automotive delivers end- to- end software engineering services for the global automotive industry. Key focus areas include embedded systems, ADAS, infotainment, AUTOSAR, and digital transformation solutions for OEMs and Tier- 1 suppliers.
We are looking for an Android Developer (Junior) to join our team, responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Android applications for various projects, especially in the Automotive and enterprise domains.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with BA, Tester, and PM to ensure product quality.
Build UI/UX following designs (XML/Jetpack Compose) and ensure performance optimization.
Debug issues, enhance features, and optimize application performance.
Write technical documentation and support code reviews.
Integrate APIs/SDKs and handle data from backend services or hardware layers.
Develop Android applications based on project requirements.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Android components: Activity, Fragment, Service, Broadcast Receiver, Content Provider.
6m- 2+ years of experience in Android development.
Able to read and understand technical documentation in English.
Experience with: Retrofit / OkHttp; ViewModel, LiveData / Flow; Room DatabaseFamiliar with Git (basic Git Flow).
Proficient in Kotlin (preferred) or Java; solid understanding of OOP and Clean Code principles.
