Key Responsibilities

Lead Android framework development and customization projects on Qualcomm- based platforms, with 5+ years of proven hands- on experience in AOSP framework layers.
Demonstrate expert- level understanding of Android framework architecture, including system_server, core services (ActivityManager, WindowManager, PackageManager, etc.), binder IPC, permissions, SELinux policies, and boot sequence from framework perspective.
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to iterative development cycles.
Utilize advanced Android debugging tools and techniques to resolve complex issues.
Develop and integrate framework- level HALs (AIDL/HIDL) for Qualcomm- specific features, ensuring Treble/VINTF compliance and seamless interaction between framework and lower layers.
Customize and extend the AOSP framework to implement OEM- specific features, new system services, custom APIs, overlays, privileged apps, and modifications to existing framework behaviors.
Perform system optimization and tuning, including boot- up time and other key performance metrics.
Support CTS/GMS certification processes, including debugging and resolving framework- related compatibility issues.
Manage Android OS version upgrades and ensure smooth migration of custom framework modifications across AOSP branches and security patches.

Good at debugging and researching skills.
Knowledge of BSP concepts (only as needed to understand framework- HAL interactions and cross- layer debugging).
Good understanding of Android Framework Architecture including Binder mechanics, Zygote process, ART runtime interactions, and system service lifecycles.
Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin for framework development and C/C++ for native framework component
Have knowledge about Android Bluetooth Structures, able to read snoop, sniffer log, have experience with HFP, SPP, BLE
Architectural thinking and system design capability are a strong advantage.
