Assistant Chief Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the engineering team, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and technical standards.
• Ensure all hotel equipment, facilities, and systems (electricity, water, HVAC, elevators, lighting, etc.) operate efficiently and safely.
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing and supervising the Engineering Department’s daily operations, including maintenance, repair, and technical services.
• Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure quality and compliance with hotel standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to handle maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist in energy- saving initiatives and sustainability projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Good command of English (reading and writing technical documents).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem- solving skills.
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong technical knowledge of hotel systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, etc.).
