About the role:
To assist and follow the guidance of Director of People & Culture and People & Culture Manager with the direction of all aspects of the People & Culture division including benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention of staff, communication to staff, career development of staff, wage & hour compliance, training, workers’ compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees.
What you will do:
Ensure hotel management are educated, kept informed of changes and are compliant with all legal requirements.
Administer and train employees on behalf of P&C including but not limited to benefits, core and culture standards.
Manage the hotel&039;s People & Culture Information System, ensuring all data is up to date and the correct information entered to ensure payment of employee wages and benefits.
Conduct regular audits of insurance records, vacation and sick allowances.
Plan and oversee coordination of all employee relations activities.
Provide counsel with managers regarding human resources related matters and practices.
Organize and supervise all employee recreation programs include holiday parties, children’s party, general meetings etc.
Make sure the operation of People & Culture smoothly
Act as an objective 3rd party in employee counseling, problem solving or conflict situation and communicate to Director of People & Culture and People & Culture Manager any circumstances that may raise legal issues for the hotel.
Maintain employment files and other records personally and through delegation in a detailed manner on paper and in the P&C computer system.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co- workers and supervisors while maintaining the confidentiality of P&C.
Ensure that the cafeteria, employee entrance and lockers rooms are clean and orderly.
In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Leaders.

Education:
College education and above
Experience: Experience required by position is from two to four years of employment in a related position.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to fluently read, speak and write English.
Requires a general working knowledge of Labor laws.
Requires knowledge of the ability to fluently operate computer equipment.
Working knowledge is generally learned on- the- Job or through a series of professional certifications.
