JOB OVERVIEW
To assist the Restaurant Manager in directing, controlling, and coordinating the restaurant’s operations. The primary focus is to achieve financial targets, maintain high- end service standards, and ensure maximum guest satisfaction within the resort environment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Attends any training programs as directed or requested.
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! Experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
Actively drive restaurant profit by applying upselling skills and encouraging staff to maximize sales opportunities.
Monitor usage of linen, crockery, glassware, and cutlery to minimize breakage/loss and maintain quality standards.
Provide constant instruction and support to staff, ensuring they complete their duties accurately and professionally.
Ensure the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, furniture, and equipment at the workplace.
Support the Department Head in evaluating menus, suggesting programs to maximize profit, and assisting in annual budget planning.
Prepare duty rosters and manage leave/holiday plans, assigning workloads flexibly to match restaurant occupancy changes.
Oversee and control staff under responsibility; instruct and perform daily tasks in an organized process to ensure all activities are resolved efficiently.
Regularly inspect front- of- house and back- of- house areas to ensure service zones, serving procedures, sanitation standards, and staff grooming meet resort luxury standards.
Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Prepare and submit operational reports in a timely manner.
Follow up on issues discussed in daily briefings and implement immediate, effective solutions to resolve guest or operational problems.
Assist in coordinating, planning, and conducting departmental training programs to improve the team&039;s skills and service quality.
Work closely with the Stewarding and Housekeeping departments to ensure seamless operations and hygiene.
Keep updated on resort- wide promotions and events; inform guests clearly and concisely to enhance their stay experience.
Supervise and control inventories and properties; participate in the formal inventory process.
Conduct daily briefings to provide staff with essential information regarding daily activities, VIP arrivals, and departmental updates.
