Automation Test Engineer

Test Automation Engineer is to write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code.

Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
Collaborating with QC Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
Designing and developing test automation scripts.
Researching issues in software through testing.
Building test automation guidelines.

Advanced knowledge of CI/CD.
Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross- functional team environment.
Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and scripts.
At least 3+ years experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role.
Experience with HTML and CSS.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation such as C or other programming languages and you are willing to switch into C.
Strong understanding of test automation principles and methodologies.
TOOL:
Automation testing tools: Selenium, Node.js
Mobile automation testing tools for Android, iOS, and cross- platform ones
API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create tests: REST Assured, RestSharp, jMeter, etc.;
Continuous Integration tools- Jenkins, Bit bucket, Github
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Certification in test automation tools or methodologies (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver, or similar).
Knowledge of cloud- based testing platforms and services.
Participation in relevant industry conferences, workshops, or training programs.
