Backend Developer NodeJS, Goalng, Python, API, MySQL

Job Objective:
Design, implement, and optimize CDN, reverse proxy, caching, and backend processing strategies to ensure:

Significant reduction of database and application- layer traffic
Fast response time
Optimal load distribution

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Backend API & Application Optimization:

Refactor CPU- blocking or slow I/O logic.
Measure and improve performance using tools such as APM, Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry.
Optimize heavy- load, high- concurrency APIs (Golang/NodeJS).

🔹 Multi- layer Caching Architecture:

Application Layer Caching: Redis, in- memory caching (LRU, TTL logic).
Edge Caching (Cloudflare CDN): Configure Cache- Control, Workers, Page Rules, etc.
Reverse Proxy Caching (NGINX): Implement dynamic caching (micro- cache) and API route caching for GET/HEAD.
Database Result Caching: Redis cache + key versioning to reduce duplicate queries.

🔹 Smart Cache Integration & Invalidation:

Apply “stale- while- revalidate” or “cache- aside” caching patterns.
Implement event- driven cache invalidation based on data changes.

🔹 Cloud & CI/CD for Performance Support:

Build performance testing scripts (k6, Locust, Artillery, etc.).
Collaborate with DevOps on GKE architecture and Cloudflare rules.
Configure autoscaling (CPU/Memory, HPA on K8s).

• Practical Experience: Cloudflare (Workers, Page Rules, KV)
• Good: Kubernetes (GKE), NGINX, CI/CD
• Knowledge of indexing & slow query profiling: Database Tuning (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Solid foundation: DevOps Collaboration (infra, autoscale)

Phase- Objectives :

Month 3: Implement cache key strategies + Redis TTL & hit/miss logging
After 6 months: Build dashboards to monitor cache efficiency, DB offload ratio, and error rates
Month 1: Audit all API/web flows to identify bottlenecks
Month 2: Design multi- layer caching architecture & apply Cloudflare cache rules
Month 4: Improve TTFB by 40–60% for high- load endpoints
