Responsibilities:
Development of a strong communications protocol and solid commercial relationships with carriers, sub contractors and other providers to enhance the firm’s reputation
Hiring, training and mentoring staff members in HCM and Hanoi to ensure that the company will grow
Development of short and long- range goals for client development and market penetration
Be current on all legislative developments that could or will affect the business climate locally
Developing and enhancing customers and customer relations in South Vietnam
Primary responsibility of leading business development, key account management and tradelane management.
Maintaining a liaison and good commercial relationships with other global offices offices around the world to increase the networks business
Be the control tower and manager of our tender management operations for all VN, with support from Hanoi branch and procurement responsible
Support in negotiation, preparation, and execution of all contracts and agreements entered into by the global, regional and local management.
Be key account contact for already maintained and target regional/global customers for Leschaco
To help with procurement of local services
To evaluate and assses current rates for services and do continuous improvement on procurement
Actively engage in regional procurement sessions and meetings
To assist the organization in procuring from carriers in general
To help procure and offer the best possible rates for inland/customs services
Staff relations and training
To monitor and assess staff performance
To hire and train new staff
To develop and retain key staff.
To do reports
To create and help evaluate reports on internal KPI’s for sales targets and country vietnam internally agreed business targets
To report on won/loss business while evaluation bad business
To report in a timely manner the monthly sales numbers

Requirement:
2 years in Senior manager role
6 years in a freight forwarding company, preferably medium sized
Ability to take over multiple responsibilities in tender management, key account, tradelane and business development
Having good communication skills – especially high English level as there will be meetings with global and regional offices
Ability to present a customer network with strong ties also a big plus (Any industry)
Ability to actively explore new opportunities, prepare offers, concepts and being able to present them successfully
Taking over the responsibility that entails precise and regular reporting to MD about changes and opportunities, having analytic skills to steer the business.
Development and maintaining of customer and vendor relationships
Ability to adapt to changes in the market
Experience in chemical logistics and with chemical customers a big advantage
Ability to work in a different cultural environment, being open minded to cultural challenges
Strong track record in business development and growing a team
