Business Development Manager - ZLC SEA Project (Chinese speaking)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive the growth of ZLC&039;s business in Vietnam. Extending ZLC&039;s existing customer relationships from China to local market and securing new business. The ideal candidate will leverage ZLC&039;s existing resources and local partners&039; setups to achieve rapid, low- cost market penetration and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management & Growth:
• Understand customer supply chains deeply to identify opportunities and position ZLC as a reliable, strategic global partner.
• Serve as the primary lead for managing and developing relationships with assigned Asia MNC accounts in Vietnam.
• Develop and execute comprehensive annual account plans and budgets to drive revenue and volume growth across all ZLC products (Air, Ocean, Land, Contract Logistics).
Business Development & Sales Execution:
• Manage the full sales cycle for strategic opportunities, from prospecting and negotiation to closing.
• Support the implementation of new business, ensuring a smooth handover to operational teams.
• Act as an "ice- breaker" to open doors with new local Chinese customers and develop new potential opportunities in the region.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with Corporate Account Managers and internal stakeholders (Operations, Customer Service, Product) to align strategies, processes, and customer communication.
• Bridge efficient communication and collaboration between ZLC and the local partner, leveraging ZLC&039;s commercial experience and the partner&039;s operational capabilities.
• Run regular MBRs and QBRs with customers, presenting performance insights and strategic direction.
Operational Excellence & Problem Solving:
• Manage Accounts Receivables for the assigned customers.
• Ensure operational challenges are resolved promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the design and implementation of efficient operational setups, such as control towers, EDI connections, and data reporting.
Market Intelligence & Planning:
• Conduct market research within the local market to identify trends and new business opportunities.
• Provide strategic input for regional planning and budget forecasting.
