CI Lead (Customer / Consumer Insight Lead)

Role Purpose
As OPPO Vietnam enters its next phase of growth, this role is responsible for identifying high- potential consumer segments based on evolving population structures and consumption trends, and translating insights into actionable inputs for brand and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Consumer Landscape
• Track key consumption trends (e.g., middle- class expansion, youth behavior shifts, digital habits)
• Analyze Vietnam’s population structure, urbanization trends, income segmentation, and regional differences
• Develop forward- looking perspectives on consumer evolution and deliver regular insight reports
Segmentation & Opportunity Mapping
• Translate segmentation into clear opportunity spaces for the business
• Identify and define high- value segments and their growth potential
• Build actionable consumer profiles (lifestyle, behaviors, motivations)
• Lead or co- lead consumer segmentation projects
Insight to Impact
• Contribute to key initiatives (campaigns, product planning, positioning) and influence decision- making
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations (not just observations)
• Drive adoption and impact of insights across the organization
• Partner closely with brand, marketing, and product teams to provide consumer- centric inputs
Research Excellence
• Translate business questions into effective research design and methodologies
• Manage external research agencies to ensure quality and efficiency
• Build and accumulate reusable research knowledge and assets
• Lead end- to- end quantitative and qualitative research projects (e.g., U&A, usage studies)
Insight Capability Building
• Develop and continuously improve the consumer insight framework and database
• Integrate internal data (sales, user, channel) with external sources
• Strengthen organizational capability in consumer understanding and decision- making
