• Contributesto the development and implementation of improved methods of work and betterutilization of staff in all areas
• Ensuresclear lines of communication exist to disseminate information affectingemployer- employee relations, employee activities and hotel policies andprogrammes
• Managesthe Colleague Accommodation/Residences and all facilities related to the Accommodation/ Residences, ensuring compliancewith all Corporate, area and hotel policies and procedures; and current localand government regulations pertaining to employment practices
• Maintainsand updates files on employee accommodation records.
• Preparesand submits periodic reports for management’s use in accordance with Corporateand government requirements, such as personnel inventories, health and safety,accident reports etc.
• Assistsin maintaining and creating a positive atmosphere within the hotel andAccommodation that allows for open two way communication that ensures moraleand productivity reach the highest possible levels
• Worksclosely with the Hotel Human Resources Manager, Recruitment Manager and the HRteam to ensure a warm welcome for all colleagues.
• Assiststhe Human Resources Director, where appropriate, in the development andpreparation of the Hotel’s Strategic Plan, Marketing Plan and Goals Programme
• Maintainseffective communications at all levels of management and staff
• Liaiseswith individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, Welfare and Activityproviders, tour operators, governmentofficials, colleges and universities, competitors and other members of thelocal community
• Maintainsa balance between individual colleague needs and fairness and hotel policies.
• Counselshotel personnel as needed in the role of HRM Welfare & Activities warrants,maintain confidentiality as appropriate. Advising colleagues that informationwhich may impact Hotel operations should be reported to their Manager or to theHRM / HRD, failing which you will do this.
• Managesthe Colleague Accommodation in line with the Hotel Benefits Matrix by level.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving, analytical, reasoning,motivating, organizational and training abilities.
• Knowledge of Local Labour and EmploymentRegulations.
• Good writing skills
• Communication skills are utilized asignificant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated abilityto interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly onthe hotel, the brand and the Company.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma inHuman Resources or Business Administration.
Experience
&13;&13;• 3 years of relevant experience or&13;similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and&13;work- related experience.
