Computer Vision Engineer

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join our AI team in developing cutting- edge solutions for the automotive insurance industry.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing computer vision systems that automatically detect and assess vehicle damage from images — helping enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience in the insurance process.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop, train, and fine- tune Computer Vision models for tasks such as vehicle damage detection, segmentation, and classification.
Contribute to AI R&D initiatives, explore new approaches such as synthetic data generation or Generative AI, and share insights with the team.
Conduct experiments, benchmark models, and continuously improve performance, speed, and scalability.
Apply and implement state- of- the- art techniques in object detection, image segmentation, and damage estimation using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV.
Build and maintain end- to- end pipelines for image data collection, preprocessing, labeling, and augmentation.
Evaluate model performance using key metrics (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1- score, IoU) and ensure robustness on real- world insurance datasets.
Work closely with software and MLOps engineers to deploy models into production environments.

Your Skills and Experience:
Must- have

Bachelor’s degree (or final- year student) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Robotics, or related fields.
Strong foundation in:
Image processing (OpenCV)
Python
Basic Machine Learning / Deep Learning
Good reading comprehension in English. Being good at speaking English is a plus
Analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
Familiar with at least one Deep Learning framework: PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Nice- to- have

Experience with projects or coursework involving:
Object Tracking (SORT / DeepSORT)
OCR, Pose Estimation
YOLO, Faster R- CNN, RetinaNet, UNet, or similar architectures
Understanding of GPU computing or CUDA.
Experience using dataset labeling tools (LabelImg, CVAT, Roboflow, etc.).
