Data/Business Analyst (Middle Level)
Seedcom has built a synergic technology team of top- notch Engineers, Researchers and Senior Scientists with PhD/MSc degrees from reputable Universities/Institutes in Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, UK, US; Marketing/Business development players from reputable companies & contributed to great products in Vietnam like MoMo or Zalo.
We&039;re looking for a mid- level Data Analyst or Business Analyst who understands both retail logic and modern data engineering principles. As our Data/Business Analyst, you won’t just be making charts. You will be a foundational member of a lean powerhouse team, working alongside other senior members to build the single source of truth for our entire retail ecosystem.

Position: DA/BA | Type: Full- time | Location: Ho Chi Minh City
• The Data Dictionary: Own the creation and maintenance of the Data Dictionary and metadata documentation to ensure the business and technical teams speak the same language.
• Data Governance & Quality: Implement and monitor data governance mechanisms. You will be a guardian of data quality, ensuring that the "AI- ready" data is accurate, compliant, and secure.
• Datamart & Modeling: Design and build standardized datamarts using Star Schema or Snowflake schemas that reflect retail realities like inventory turnover, basket analysis, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
• Data Lakehouse Evolution: Collaborate with the Senior Data Engineer to map raw retail data (POS, Inventory, CRM, E- commerce) into a Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers).
• Requirement Engineering: Act as the translator between business stakeholders and the technical data team, turning vague retail problems into precise technical specifications.
Requirements
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence, specifically within the Retail or E- commerce sector.
• The Technical Core:
• Advanced SQL: You should be comfortable writing complex joins, window functions, and
CTEs.
• Data Engineering Background: Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools (Airflow,
Control- M..).
• Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of Lakehouse concepts (DeltaLake, Hadoop,
Spark..) and Cloud Warehouses (BigQuery).
• Domain Expertise: Good understanding of retail KPIs (GMV, Like- for- Like growth, OOS rates,
Sell- through, etc.).
• Documentation Mindset: A passion for creating clear, concise documentation that makes complex
