Director of IT

As Director of IT, we rely on you to:
- Lead a multidisciplinary IT team spanning system administration, network management, and helpdesk operations.
- Ensure the integrity of information security, data protection, backup systems, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Oversee system deployment, upgrades, and monitoring — maintaining service levels and minimising downtime across all platforms.
- Plan and steward the annual IT budget across CAPEX and OPEX, balancing operational needs with strategic investment.
- Shape and drive the resort&039;s IT strategy and long- term technology roadmap in alignment with the Board of Directors.
- Own and oversee the resort&039;s full IT infrastructure, including: server and security infrastructure (VMware virtualisation, firewall systems, and cyberattack prevention and detection solutions); enterprise- scale network (a WiFi controller managing 1,000+ access points, core switches, and 800+ distribution and access switches); and hospitality systems (PMS Opera, POS Infrasys, Sun Systems for Finance & Accounting, Cadena HRM, VingCard door lock system, and Microsoft 365).

We are looking for someone who:
Strong English for vendor and partner communication
Holds a Bachelor&039;s degree in Information Technology or a related field, with at least 5 years as IT Director or Senior IT Manager in hospitality, resort, or F&B operations
Familiarity with BMS, CCTV, IPTV, and ELV systems in resort environments
Hands- on expertise in VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter), enterprise firewall and security (WatchGuard, Fortinet, or equivalent), WiFi controllers, and multi- tier network architecture.
Proven track record managing large- scale infrastructure — hundreds of network devices, thousands of users.

- Office Position: 02 days off/week (9 working hours/day)
