Early Years Teacher (Vietnamese Only)

Teaching and Learning
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, providing individualised support where needed.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress using a range of formative assessment strategies and early years assessment tools.
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the school’s early years framework and informed by IB philosophy and current international research in early childhood education.
• Support the development of early language, numeracy, and social skills through purposeful play and structured activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration, play, and inquiry.
Pastoral Care and Wellbeing
• Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour through consistent routines and expectations.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students, supporting their emotional wellbeing and sense of belonging.
• Ensure all safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times.
Learning Environment
• Design and maintain an engaging, well- organised, and stimulating learning environment that reflects children’s development and celebrates their learning.
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, nurturing space where children feel secure and valued.
Collaboration and Communication
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leadership to ensure consistency and quality of provision.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, wellbeing, and development.
• Participate in parent meetings, workshops, and wider school events.
• Maintain accurate and up- to- date records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications and Experience
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• 3+ years experience in an international or bilingual school setting is an advantage.
• Experience working with early years students (ages 2–5 preferred).
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in English.
