Education Cum Research Intern

Role: The Education and Public Programs Intern will support research and educational work related to VAC’s programs and ongoing initiatives. The intern will work closely with the Associate Director in Research & Education and contribute to research, writing, and content preparation across multiple projects.

● Provide general project support as needed
● Assist with coordination and documentation related to education and research activities
● Research artists, artworks, exhibitions, and historical contexts related to Vietnamese modern and contemporary art
● Support content preparation for VAC’s social media and educational materials
● Support editorial tasks for the ARTIFACT Journal project
● Assist with drafting, editing, and organizing research and educational texts for both internal and external use
● Translate materials between Vietnamese and English, with attention to cultural context and nuance

● Fluency in Vietnamese and English, with strong reading and writing skills
● Excellent attention to detail and ability to work carefully with texts
● Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and with others
● Experience with academic or research- based writing is an advantage
● Responsible, reliable, and able to manage tasks within deadlines
● Curious, thoughtful, and open to feedback
● Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in arts, humanities, art history, cultural studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience and demonstrated interest.

Duration: 6 months
○ 2 days at the VAC Hanoi office
● Work schedule: 3 days per week
● Compensation: VND 4,000,000 per month
● Start date: 12 January 2026
○ 1 day working remotely
