Embedded Software Engineer (Radar Sensor, Hybrid Working)

As an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will support the development of next- generation automotive radar software by assisting in the design, implementation, and verification of advanced signal- processing functions. Working closely with experienced developers, you will contribute to software quality, diagnostics, and tooling on multi- core embedded platforms. Your work helps ensure reliable, high- performance radar systems for future vehicle generations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure full requirements traceability and linking implementation
Support integration testing and debugging on multi- core embedded platforms with hardware accelerators
Contribute to the development of Serie Radar SW by supporting the design andimplementation of advanced signal processing
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvements
Perform static code analysis using QAC and ensure compliance with coding standards
Enhancement of tooling for development and testing purposes. (e.g. Implement/add new views in RAST (Recoding, Analysis and Simulation Tool)
Development of diagnostic software for monitoring internal functional units (e.g. run time, memory watch and data injection)
Develop and execute unit tests to verify functionality and robustness
Development of MATLAB- based simulation SW for automotive Radar.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of digital signal processing and statistical signal processing.
Good communication in English.
Knowledge of software engineering, quality standards and design principles.
Experience in the field of embedded software (C /C++) for real- time systems, preferably in advanced driver assistance systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages Matlab and Python.
University degree in technical disciplines such as electrical engineering, physics, technical computer sciences and similar disciplines.
Over 1 year of experience as Embedded Software Engineer
