F&B Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and professional F&B Operations Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and managing F&B orders, staffing, and financial performance. This role aims to maximize sales and revenue through outstanding customer satisfaction and strong employee engagement.
Responsibilities
Operations Management:
• Proactively manage and resolve guest complaints, turning challenges into positive experiences.
• Prepare and manage staff duty rosters, ensuring optimal labor cost control and consistent service levels.
• Optimize the use of all equipment, tools, and machinery within the F&B department.
• Ensure staff maintain professional appearance, grooming standards, and comply with company uniform policies.
• Ensure strict adherence to food (kitchen) and beverage (bar) control policies.
• Monitor and improve staff communication skills with both local and international guests.
• Establish and maintain excellent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practices to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
• Foster strong teamwork and effective collaboration between staff and management.
Sales, Profitability & Cost Control:
• Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders through effective public relations activities.
• Achieve budgeted targets for food and beverage sales, labor costs, and overall profitability.
Product & Service Quality:
• Ensure service excellence in line with brand standards and guest expectations.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure consistency in food and beverage standards.
People Management:
• Promote a positive work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations across all shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and cleanliness.
• Train, coach, and develop employees in line with company policies and procedures.
Administration & Planning:
• Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and control systems.
• Lead menu planning initiatives and implement upselling strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to coordinate group bookings, events, and banquet requirements (proposals, contracts, and function plans).
• Oversee procurement, inventory control, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Proficient in POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position within a 4–5 star restaurant or fine dining environment.
• Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to monitor staff activities, reports, and operational data accurately.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards; training and coaching skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of menu development, recipes, and food costing is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
