Food and Beverage Purchasing Expert

Job Purpose
The job holder responsible for:
Support and carry out the procurement of goods and services for activities that meet Techcombank&039;s requirements effectively, in accordance with regulations and procedures of the procurement of goods and services of Techcombank — with a specific focus on purchasing Food & Beverage (F&B) products, including:

Processed & packaged food (canned goods, ready‑to‑eat items, snacks, sauces, condiments)
Dry goods (rice, grains, noodles, spices, baking ingredients)
Fresh food (fruits)
Other related F&B items purchased from suppliers, distributors, and brands for distribution to supermarkets and restaurants.
Beverages (non‑alcoholic drinks, bottled drinks, packaged beverages)

Improve interaction and support between Centralized Procurement and internal customers.
Improve the operation quality of Centralized Procurement.
Key Accountabilities (1)
Strictly comply with the Bank&039;s Labor Regulations.
Research, evaluate and update supplier list and market prices for all products and services used by the Bank, including F&B procurement categories (fresh food, processed and packaged food, dry goods, beverages, and other F&B items purchased for distribution). Manage and report on the price and quality of the Bank&039;s suppliers.
Perform work in accordance with policies, regulations, procedures, internal guidelines... and service quality commitments (SLAs).
Market research.
• Research and update production technology, packaging standards, distribution capability, and product offerings for each F&B purchasing specialty (fresh, packaged, dry goods, beverages).
• Regularly update information and check the operating status of suppliers in the market.
• Monitor and update the prices of goods and services according to each purchasing specialty
• Exchange and meet with suppliers to find information for Centralized Procurement.
Evaluate and advise on supplier selection
• Coordinating with the focal unit and the bidding/price evaluation team to buil RFP
• Advising the Senior Manager/Head of Procurement to select suppliers to invite bids or offer competitive offers.
• Make a list of vendors according to each purchasing segment
• Synthesize and evaluate the capacity of suppliers through the scoring system of Centralized Procurement.
• Visit and survey the supplier&039;s facility and working conditions and legal bases to make preliminary assessments.
Carry out bidding procedures, price review, price negotiation, and related professional issues.
Protect with the Senior Manager/Head of Procurement to proposed prices and suppliers within the allowable limit as prescribed by the Bank from time to time.
Key Accountabilities (2)
Participating in the planning and budgeting of the department. Fully completing the action plans, as well as the KPIs assigned by the Senior Manager/Head of Procurement.
Check and urge to ensure that the activities of the responsible segment comply with internal policies, regulations, processes, guidelines... and commitment to service quality.
Support the Senior Manager/Head of Procurement in controlling records and documents related to the responsible segment.
Monitor, track and report the tasks progress of the the responsible segment and take effective remedial measures to optimize procurement activities.
Make reports on bidding results or negotiation results to leaders and competent authorities.
Perform other related tasks requested by the Senior Manager/Head of Procurement.
Participating in building/controlling/developing internal guidances and processes for related business areas in the responsible segment.
Coordinate with the Business Analysis team to provide an analysis of the investment and procurement strategy of the responsible segment.

Success Profile- Qualification and Experiences
Education: Bachelor&039;s degree or higher. Postgraduate degree preferred .
English: TOEIC minimum 550 or equivalent
Experience: 4 years of management experience in a similar position
Other requirements: Understanding the TCB system; Understanding procurement activities; Understanding regulations/processes related to procurement activities
