Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information
Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
and procedures
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
Prepares for service by ensuring:
Outlet is ready for service and guest comfort
Cutlery is placed for buffet and table service
Grooming is impeccable and in accordance with ICHG personal presentation standards
Music is on
Outlet equipment is clean
Waiter stations are prepared
Flatware is polished
China is clean
Equipment is sorted and stored
Glassware is polished
Tables are set
Special occasions are ready
Lighting is on
Reservations are read and familiarized
Carries out effective service by ensuring:
Payment methods are handled accurately
Guests are greeted and seated
Daily specials are explained and upsold
Used ashtrays are regularly cleaned
Working areas are cleaned and re- set quickly
Food orders are processed accurately
Bar is clean
Trays and tray jacks are effectively used
Guests are conversed with in relation to the food and beverage products
Food orders are taken quickly
Carries out effective beverage service by ensuring:
Beverages are upsold and regularly replenished, abiding by responsible alcohol service
Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Food and beverage stock is stored in relation to hotel procedures

Converse with Guests about wine, advising the types and styles of wine, taking wine orders and
Promoting and selling cocktails to guests
Coffee and tea is served hot and in accordance with standard

Required Skills –
• Able to read and write English
•Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflectshighly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
•Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler cardas required by local government agency.
Qualifications –
• High School.
Experience –
• Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.
