Footwear Materials Costing Analyst (Good English) ~ 35 - 50 Mill Vnd [27197 - Hai Phong/HCM]

Responsibilities: This Position is responsible for reviewing Tier- 2 (T2) supplier material cost breakdowns, validating and negotiating material prices, and ensuring all costing standards and policies are consistently applied. This role works closely with material vendors, Development, and cross- functional teams to achieve target costs and margins while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the costing process.
Details:
Costing Planning & Process Management (10%)
• Develop costing schedules and manage the costing workflow to ensure completion within critical path dates.
Cost Validation & Negotiation (30%)
• Review and validate cost breakdowns for assigned material categories.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in material costing.
• Negotiate material prices with suppliers based on cost analysis.
• Apply material knowledge and costing tools to meet target costs and margins.
Collaboration & Cost Optimization (30%)
• Conduct “should- cost” analysis for new materials and support teams in meeting cost targets.
• Partner with Development, Material teams, and suppliers to propose cost- saving solutions.
Cost Analysis & Reporting (20%)
• Perform accurate and timely cost analyses and reports.
• Maintain seasonal price history records for tracking and future reference.
Issue Resolution & Margin Achievement (20%)
• Identify and escalate costing concerns to management for solution alignment.
• Apply knowledge of footwear, materials, and manufacturing processes to achieve target margins.
Vendor Relationship Management (10%)
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with material vendors to secure competitive costing and ensure consistent costing practices.
* Working time: 80- 170 Mon- Fri

• Minimum 5 years of experience in material costing or footwear product costing.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self- motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• English good communication skill
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, honest, collaborative, and strong team player.
• Highly developed analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
