Front Office Supervisor

- Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
- Supervise front office operations during assigned shift:
Supervise group bookings
Maintenance of guest information
Maintenance of information about Resort and local events
Supervise the use of the public address system
Assist with serious complaints
- Supervise cashiering activities during shift:
Instructing staff in cash/credit card security procedures
Carry out debtor control
Dealing with ad- hoc payments
Prepare reports instructed by Front Office Manager
Supervise the cashiering system
Report any cash/credit discrepancies
Instructing staff in credit policies
Cash handling and banking procedure
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with resort requirements
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify Management/Security of potential dangers
- Recycles where- ever possible and enforces cost saving measures to the Team
- With IT department, ensure the resort system is maintained in accordance with the standard operating procedures and all guests receive seamless uninterrupted wi- fi service.
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Works with all in the preparation and management of the department’s budget and is aware of financial KPI’s
- Ensure that all refused business is recorded and reported to Front Office Manager.
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
Yêu cầu công việc
Knowledge and Experience
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• At least Bachelor degree in any field
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
