Game Tester

Overview:
We are looking for a detail- oriented and proactive Game Tester to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, tracking, and reporting bugs, collaborating closely with developers and designers to ensure the highest quality standards before release. Your feedback will play a vital role in improving gameplay, functionality, and overall player experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Work within Scrum methodology and manage objectives according to OKRs.
Collaborate and follow up with cross- functional teams (Developers, Designers, etc.) to resolve issues.
Write test cases, perform testing, and provide clear and accurate reports on game features.
Collaborate with Developers and Game Designers to ensure game quality before release.
Proactively propose new testing ideas and methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
Log, track, and verify bugs using bug- tracking tools.
Provide valuable feedback on games and features from both a tester’s and a player’s perspective.
Continuously test games to detect issues related to functionality, logic, graphics, sound, gameplay feel, formulas, and game flow.
Collect and verify user- reported bugs on released versions, and document findings in detailed reports.

Understanding of programming languages (e.g., Unity, Unreal) is a plus.
Hands- on experience with bug tracking and testing tools such as Jira, Xray.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong knowledge of mobile game testing, gameplay, and game terminology.
Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems effectively.
Experience in UX/UI testing is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Game Tester.
Proactive, innovative, and a strong team player.
Solid understanding of the bug life cycle and ability to provide constructive feedback.
