General Accountant

As General Accountant, your responsibility is overseeing and managing the day- to- day accounting operations of the company. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
• Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance
sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate and support the annual audit process.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records, including sales, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
Team Management:
• Resolve team conflicts and disputes.
• Monitor team productivity and ensure deadlines are met.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, including assigning tasks, providing training and development, and conducting performance reviews.
Accounting Operations:
• Review and approve journal entries and other accounting transactions.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, including tax laws.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
• Support accounting processes for new platforms and brands.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
• Lead the preparation for the implementation of an ERP system (Business Central 365)
• Perform ad- hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Having experience working in ERP system such as Business Central is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
• Can start working as soon as possible
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Exce
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills.
