General Accountant

Oversees and monitors billing and utilization of sponsorship funds.
Contributes to the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive Department Operations Manual, ensuring it reflects current policies, procedures, workflows, and performance standards within the Division. Conducts annual reviews to incorporate updates.
Prepares reconciliation statements for all bank accounts.
Reviews and records purchase requests for FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) against budget allocations.
Safeguards contracts and financial documents.
Reviews and validates all monthly journals prepared by Accounts Clerks.
Maintains an organized and efficient filing system, both physical and electronic.
Manages billing and claims related to staff incentives for Food and Beverage promotions.
Verifies Operating Equipment (OE) breakage and condemned linen.
Develops and maintains schedules and analytical reports for all accounts.
Reviews and records OE purchase requests against budget allocations.
Prepares assigned monthly journal entries and posts all approved entries.
Supports semi- annual OE inventory counts and prepares accurate and timely OE Reports and Comparisons.
Compiles and submits the monthly FF&E schedule, with supporting details, to the Owning Company.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2–4 years of experience in hotel accounting or auditing, including at least one year in a supervisory role, or equivalent experience in a 5 star hotel environment.
Self- motivated, able to work independently, and demonstrates strong initiative.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Adaptable and responsive to change in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, problem- solving, organizational, motivational, and training capabilities.
