GENERAL MANAGER for Sports & Wellness Camp — Chau Duc, Ba Ria-Vung Tau

About the Camp
We operate a boutique sports and wellness camp by the Kim Long Lake in Chau Duc, Ba Ria- Vung Tau Ho Chi Minh. Set across 15 private pods accommodating up to 30 guests, the camp offers an immersive retreat experience combining athletic training, outdoor recreation, quality F&B, and programming for families and groups. We are looking for a driven, hands- on General Manager to lead the property from the ground up and help shape its identity.
The Role
As General Manager, you will have full accountability for the day- to- day operations of the camp — across hospitality, food & beverage, the Kids Club, and training facilities. You will be the face of the camp, responsible for guest experience, team management, commercial performance, and operational standards. This is a live- in (flexible) that suits someone who thrives in a remote, active environment and loves building something from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service and satisfaction
• Develop and enforce SOPs across all departments
• Manage bookings, scheduling, and on- site logistics
• Oversee all daily operations across accommodation, F&B, Kids Club, and training/sports facilities
Team Leadership
• Conduct regular performance reviews and on- the- job coaching
• Foster a motivated, guest- focused team culture
• Recruit, train, and manage a small on- site team
Commercial & Financial
• Drive occupancy, upsells, and ancillary revenue (F&B, activities, programs)
• Build partnerships with sports groups, corporates, schools, and travel agents
• Manage the camp&039;s P&L, budgeting, and cost controls
• Report regularly to ownership on KPIs and operational matters
Facilities & Safety
• Maintain all pods, communal areas, and facilities to a high standard
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese health, safety, and hospitality regulations
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships

Essential

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality management (hotel, resort, camp, or lodge)
• Proven experience managing F&B operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good command of English; Vietnamese required
• Passion for sports, outdoor activities, or an active lifestyle
• Comfortable living and working in a remote, rural setting
• Entrepreneurial mindset — willing to roll up sleeves and lead by example
Advantageous
• Familiarity with kids programming or youth activities
• Knowledge of Ba Ria- Vung Tau province or the surrounding region
• Experience with sports camps, retreat centres, or eco- lodges
• Background in revenue management or hospitality sales
