Oversee all construction and decoration works in the hotel;
Establish and develop a strict maintenance system to ensure that the property is always kept at the 5- star hotel level;
Develop and decide the sales & marketing strategy in consultant with Director of Sales and Sales Team;
Establish the partnership to become an affiliate hotel of worldwide hotel chains;
Full responsibility for the management and development of the hotel in order to meet the 5- star standards and bring the best profit return to the Board of Directors;
Overall responsibility for property management including construction project management, signage and interior decoration, gardens, maintenance of the hotel including M&E & civil engineering;
Establish and develop business relationships with local and international tour operators and different types of clients;
Organize regular morning briefings with Department Heads to ensure the smooth flow of information and communications;
Establish and maintain good relationships with the media to support the marketing sides;
Develop a monthly and annually good employment benefit policy;
Develop and maintain a stable and capable labour force;
Any action of taking advantages of personal power for self benefits or for others’ are strictly prohibited;
Inspect and supervise operational activities of all departments in order to improve the services, solve problems on time;
Develop a long- term policy to attract qualified employees;
Provide staff orientation to encourage the sense of responsibilities on the jobs and in the industry;
Establish and maintain good relationships with local authorities;
Ensure that a comprehensive security system of the hotel is established and implemented;
Modify and develop annual business plans to achieve the annual desired profit;
Decide the best and efficient management directions among the departments and the hotel as a whole;
Maintain professional knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the hospitality industry; establishing personal networks; attending educational courses; participating in professional seminars and conferences; and reviewing professional publications;
Prepare and propose a comprehensive business plan and long term strategy in compliance with the business directions approved by the Board of Directors, for the development of the hotel from which annual business plan will be implemented;
Introduce and develop the brand name of the hotel to the international market;
Prepare and propose the annual budget including staff structure, human resources plan, level of salaries, training and investment;
Control of all operation expenses including food costs, human resources, maintenances, etc…to ensure that all the expenditure is maintained at the best reasonably economical level;
Prepare monthly management report including the comparison business result against the approved annual budget and business plan approved by the Board of Directors;
Build up and develop a strong team of Department Heads to support a sound and efficient management team;
Negotiate the renewal of each contract with suppliers and sub- contractors;
Prepare the monthly market share and competitor analysis;
Set out a long- term plan to achieve the level of standards desired;
To set goals for achievement of hotel performance awards locally and internationally;
Act on behalf of the Board of Directors in a trustworthy and transparent manner for the common benefits of the hotel.
