JOB DESCRIPTION

Teaching Responsibilities:
● Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for extra- curricular ESL programs, such as:
● Cambridge Exam Preparation (Starters, Movers, Flyers)
● Other specialized English programs as assigned
● Phonics for young learners
● Complete Daily Report as assigned by the Direct Line Manager.
● Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments.
● Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on learning progress.
● Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters active learning and participation.
● Attend training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to enhance teaching quality.
● Collaborate with academic and customer care staff to ensure high- quality learning experience for the students.
● Monitor and assess students’ progress through formative and summative assessments.
● Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
● Adapt teaching materials and methodologies to meet students’ needs and learning styles.
Academic Administrative Responsibilities:
In addition to teaching duties, full- time teachers will be required to contribute to academic administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
● Teaching Hours Commitment: Ensure a maximum of 24 teaching hours per week.
● Exam Preparation Support: Assist in organizing and conducting placement tests, mock exams, and student evaluations.
● Academic Program Development: Contribute to the curriculum refinement, course design, and improvement of extra- curricular programs
● Lesson Planning & Resource Development: Create and update teaching materials, lesson plans, and supplementary resources.

REQUIREMENTS

● Teaching certificate (TESOL, TKT, CELTA, TEFL, or equivalent).
● Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
● Bachelor’s degree in English or TESOL.
● Proficiency in English (IELTS 7.0 and above).
● Experience in teaching English to Kindergarten and/ or Primary students at English centers preferred.
