Legal foundation & consulting

Set up legal framework & policies
Assess, identify and mitigate legal risks in current & future business activities
Provide expert legal advice to executives and departments on a wide range of legal and business issues

Legal operations

Lead legal team to ensure legal compliance, including but not limit to products’ licenses, import & export required procedures, internal & external documents
Review commercial contracts from legal risk perspective
Work with authorities in case of disputes in business
Establish & maintain relationship with legal authorities
Handle business licenses
Other tasks assigned by line manager
Establish & maintain trade term agreements with recommended benchmarks used for commercial contracts
Be the champion for digital transformation of Legal team
Make sure legal compliance in terms of personal data management
Train employees in legal guidelines
Integrate/ manage legal agency for assigned legal scopes

Education/Major

University graduation with major of Corporate Law

Experience:

Experience from pharmaceutical/ cosmetic industry is prefered; FMCG can be considered; multi- sales- channels bussiness; ecom business is a plus
At least 3 years experience as legal manager

Language Proficiency

Good in English.

Dispute Resolution & Intellectual Property Skills: Protect the company’s brand and handle complaints or disputes from customers or competitors
Professional Competency & Industry Knowledge: Regulatory Affairs (RA) Expertise: In- depth understanding of regulations on product declaration, advertising, and labeling for cosmetics, dietary supplements, and medical devices
Compliance Management: Compliance Management: Ability to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all processes from importation, warehousing to marketing are fully compliant
Strategic & Managerial:

System building: Possess a process- oriented mindset to digitalize or standardize legal operations, enabling smooth business operations during rapid headcount growth
Provide strategic advisory to the Board of Directors

External Relations Capability: Have experience working directly and tactfully with the Ministry of Health, Drug Administration of Vietnam, Vietnam Food Administration, and market surveillance authorities
Mindset:

Integrity & courage: Strong enough to raise red flags when necessary
Entrepreneurial mindset: Ability to withstand pressure during high- growth phases
