Head Of Risk Management

We are looking for an experienced Head of Risk Management to lead and oversee all aspects of risk management across our payment solutions business. This role will ensure the company maintains a strong and compliant risk framework that supports growth, innovation, and customer trust. You will work closely with senior leadership, regulators, and partners to safeguard against financial, operational, technology, fraud, and compliance risks while enabling seamless and secure payment services.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Risk Leadership
• Develop and implement the company- wide risk management framework tailored to payment industry operations.
• Provide guidance to the Board and Executive Team on risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Define and monitor the company’s risk appetite, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Payments Risk Oversight
• Monitor new payment products and services for emerging risks (e.g., real- time payments, digital wallets, cross- border transactions).
• Oversee credit, liquidity, and counterparty risk with banks, and merchants.
• Identify and manage risks specific to payments, including transaction fraud, chargebacks, merchant risk, and settlement risk.
Operational & Technology Risk
• Implement monitoring systems for transaction anomalies, suspicious activity, and system outages.
• Ensure controls for fraud detection, anti- money laundering (AML), and KYC compliance are robust and effective.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, and resilience measures across payment platforms.
Team Leadership
• Build, manage, and mentor the risk management team.
• Drive cross- functional collaboration between operations, compliance, product, technology, and finance teams.
