Hostel Assistant Manager – FRONT OPERATIONS

The role ensures a high- quality guest experience, supports revenue generation, and builds strong relationships with guests and external partners, while working closely with the Back Operations team to maintain smooth daily operations.
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, consistent service standards, and alignment with the company’s core values.
The Assistant Manager – Front Operations focuses on guest- facing activities, including reception, customer service, sales performance, partnerships, and on- site activities.

Must- have
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hostel, hotel, F&B, or service- oriented environment.
Experience using PMS and OTA systems (Cloudbeds, Hostelworld, Booking, Agoda, etc.).
Ability to handle guest complaints and service issues calmly and professionally.
Comfortable interacting with guests, partners, and frontline staff.
Strong spoken English with the ability to confidently communicate with international guests.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Nice to Have
Experience in leading a team, or grouping more than 5 people for 1 year is a plus point.
Strong understanding of international traveler behavior and expectations.
Experience organizing social activities or events.
Existing network with local tour operators, transport providers, bars, or hostels.
Experience in in- house sales or upselling tours, bar, and hostel services.
