Import/Export document officer /Intern

Ensuring that all shipments are picked up and delivered on time is a top priority, requiring close coordination with internal teams and external partners.
The Import/Export Document Officer / Intern plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of international shipments by managing documentation, tracking, and communication with customers and overseas agents.
Any changes or issues during shipment must be promptly communicated to customers or overseas agents, with support provided to resolve any problems that arise.
The officer must keep customers updated on shipment status, send arrival notices, and prepare debit notes to ensure transparency throughout the process.
Data entry into internal systems must be accurate and timely to maintain up- to- date records of all activities related to shipping processes.
This position is responsible for handling both sea and air shipments for export and import, including checking documents, scheduling with agents, and tracking departure and arrival times.
Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager as needed to support the overall operations of the logistics team.
Regular follow- ups with operational staff are required to ensure all procedures are completed efficiently and on schedule.
