Job Summary
The Internal Communications professional is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization’s goals, culture, and values. This role ensures clear, consistent, and timely communication across all internal channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans
Measure effectiveness of internal communications and report on engagement metrics
Act as a communication advisor during organizational change or crisis situations
Manage internal communication channels (intranet, email, collaboration tools, town halls)
Coordinate internal events, leadership briefings, and company- wide meetings
Create, edit, and distribute internal content (emails, newsletters, intranet posts, presentations, leadership messages)
Ensure messaging is consistent with brand, tone, and organizational values
Partner with leadership and HR to communicate company updates, policies, and change initiatives
Support employee engagement initiatives and internal campaigns
Required Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience with internal communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, MS Teams, Slack)
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, HR, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2–5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related roles
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of employee engagement strategies
Experience working in a matrix or global organization
Experience in change management communications
Basic understanding of analytics and communication metrics
