IT Operations Intern

Job Purpose

The IT Operations Intern assists the IT Operations team in maintaining and supporting the company’s technology environment. This role provides hands- on experience in hardware and software management, troubleshooting, and user support, helping ensure smooth day- to- day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with setup and configuration of computers, printers, and mobile devices.
Help maintain inventory of IT assets and update documentation regularly.
Follow IT procedures and ensure compliance with company security policies.
Participate in preventive maintenance and system health checks.
Support end- users with IT- related inquiries via email, chat, or in person.
Provide first- level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with IT team members to support ongoing infrastructure projects.

Requirements
Education:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

Skills and Knowledge:

Familiarity with troubleshooting PCs, printers, and common software applications.
Responsible, eager to learn, and able to follow guidance.
Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and network fundamentals.

Supervision and Access Control

Access to systems and data will be limited according to company policies.
The intern will operate under close supervision from the IT Operations team.
All tasks will be reviewed and approved by assigned IT mentors.
