IT Systems Developer And Administrator

About BARTELS: BARTELS is a high- volume brunch café chain with 15 outlets across Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok and Phuket. Our stores follow Scandinavian design principles and offer a warm atmosphere for social meetups, casual work sessions or a comfortable office for the day.
We are expanding our operations and are looking for an IT generalist who enjoys variety and can support a wide range of technical responsibilities. You should be comfortable with coding, APIs, learning new stacks and tools, hardware and software troubleshooting, and infrastructure planning as our organisation grows. You will work closely with colleagues from multiple countries and communicate in English. You will report directly to the Director of Vietnam, who is Danish.
Examples of projects you will lead

Build a reporting structure that delivers performance data directly to Slack channels.
Support the opening of new stores in other markets. Plan, scale, travel and deploy the required IT systems.
Lead the planning, development and long- term maintenance of a new company website.
Troubleshoot and resolve on- site hardware issues such as non- functioning printers.

Ability to handle general IT maintenance, diagnose issues and find solutions even without existing documentation.
Solid knowledge of standard web development technologies such as JavaScript or equivalent frameworks.
Experience working with Git solutions and understanding of code version control in team environments.
Hands- on hardware knowledge is a big plus. Printers, devices, cables, routers, switches. Our ecosystem uses Epson Printers, Apple Devices and Unifi Infrastructure.
Experience with Mobile Device Management for Apple devices is a plus, but not required. We currently manage more than 200 devices.
Strong API knowledge. Proficient in Postman or similar tools. Able to develop, map, troubleshoot, document and maintain APIs.
Experience managing large scale POS systems is a plus, but not required. You will be responsible for many POS projects in collaboration with the director of Vietnam.

Salary is highly dependent on candidate experience. We are open to consider younger junior candidates with less experience. We are also open to more experienced senior candidates with more experience. The salary package will depend on the value and experience you bring, which we can discuss during the interview.
