The Role: Japanese Language Teacher (Years 1–10)
This role is a specialist position delivering daily Japanese language instruction across Years 1–10
The program is aligned with elements of the Japanese national curriculum, while also integrating
through small, cross- grouped classes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students with a wide range of abilities through differentiated instruction
• Collaborate with homeroom teachers and leadership to support integrated learning experiences
• Developing and maintaining positive parent partnerships
• Deliver Japanese lessons each day to grouped classes across year levels
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress using formative and ongoing assessment practices
• Design engaging lessons that build language proficiency, cultural understanding, and confidence
