Java Developer

Ensure compatibility with newer JDK versions (from JDK 8 and above).
Design, plan, and implement the migration of modules from Struts to Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
Refactor legacy code to comply with modern coding standards and enhance system performance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project progress and quality.
Participate in code reviews and assist in resolving technical issues.
Write unit tests for the migrated modules.
Analyze and assess the current system built on Struts.

Basic Qualification

Experience in migrating/converting applications from Struts to Spring is a significant advantage.
Strong problem- solving and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Struts Framework and Spring Framework.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields.
At least 2 years of experience working with Java and related frameworks.
Good knowledge of JDK versions (preferably from JDK 8 and above).
Proficient in source control tools (Git, SVN).

Nice to have

Communication skills in English or Japanese.
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, or automated deployment solutions.
Experience working with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle.
Experience participating in large- scale technology migration or system upgrade projects.
