Junior Android App Framework Engineer

Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and actively learn from feedback.
Development & Coding: Write clean and well- documented Android code in Kotlin and/or Java, following established coding standards.
Automotive Focus (Potential): Depending on the project, may involve learning about automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and vehicle data. (This line can be adjusted based on specific team needs)
Framework Support: Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable Android frameworks and components under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
Application Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of Android applications, focusing on UI implementation and basic business logic.
Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Debugging: Assist with debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
Learning & Growth: Actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in Android development and related technologies.
Testing: Participate in unit testing and UI testing, assisting with the identification and resolution of software defects.

Android Fundamentals: Basic understanding of Android application architecture and components.
Android SDK: Familiarity with the Android SDK and basic UI components.
Version Control: Basic understanding of Git and version control concepts.
Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Programming Languages: Fundamental knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to approach and solve problems in a structured manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proactive Learning: Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
UI/UX Awareness: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
Automotive Interest: A strong interest in the automotive industry and connected vehicle technologies.
Android Projects: Experience with personal or academic Android development projects. (e.g., portfolio on GitHub).
Agile Awareness: Exposure to Agile/Scrum development principles.
Testing Fundamentals: Familiarity with basic testing concepts and methodologies.
