Junior Python Software Engineer

Perform and support application deployments on lower and production environments as needed
Participate in schema and data modeling design sessions
Perform code reviews
Implement clean code and adhere to coding best practices and standards
Attend and participate in scrum ceremonies
Research and resolve production issues utilizing critical and logical thinking
Follow required change and configuration management processes
Maintain and support current implementations of on- going applications and products
Bench test and provide test coverage for implemented code

Qualifications

General requirements

Intermediate skill level of English
Able to work independently with minimal guidance
2+ years of hands- on experience in a comparable position
Able to obtain deep knowledge of the project’s technologies
Able to self- learn and quickly adapt to new technologies
Familiar with the Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)

Technical requirements

Experience with object- oriented, design patterns and programming principles
Experience working experience with Python development
Good knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django/ Flask/FastAPI, etc.

Nice to have

Experience in working with one of the libraries of JavaScript
Experience with Python data processing
Experience in microservices and cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Experience with SQL databases
Experience with Web Services (REST, etc.).
