Manufacturing & Process Engineer

Job SummaryHandling the localization of power tool components and accessories from PRC vendors to VN vendors. Following up projects to meet quality and delivery.

Key responsibilities and authorities
Keep track project schedule and ensure the adherence to milestones; keep the team informed on project issues.
Follow up the transfer of components and accessories from PRC to VN from initiation till mass production.
Update engineering documents include CAD drawing, BOM, ECO, SER, etc. and follow up for review and release.
Work with multiple teams (sourcing, quality, lab, supplier…) to test, evaluate and validate transferred components.
Interact with suppliers to develop part/product specifications that meet performance requirements and ensure on time delivery.
Prepare all the product documents, i.e. Feasibility study report, CAD drawing, FMEA, FEA, Product Specification etc. for review.
Facilitate project flow including regular contact with other functional team members.
Work according to policies and procedures set by CPT.
Involve in failure analysis activities, work with Engineering, SQE, suppliers for solution/improvement and follow up the implementation.

This position will be based in Cu Chi Factory. Shuttle bus from District 1, 7, 10, Go Vap/Thu Duc/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.

Education:
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
Knowledge

Familiar with production verification and validation processes.
Product Data (BOM, specs, drawings...) Management and Change Management.
Knowledgeable in metal fabrication processes and/or plastic injection molding.
Familiar with product safety approval such as HSF, RoHS.

Functional Skills

Good at GD&T, 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks, NX or similar).
Good spreadsheet and presentation skills.
Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Other Abilities

Team player.
Able to work in a fast- paced and pressured environment.
English is a must; Chinese is a strong plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
