Job Responsibilities
The Marketing Communications Manager responsible for strategizing marketing communications plans and objectives to create a favourable market positioning for the hotel in line with the brand’s image. It involves promoting and maintaining good communications to enhance the prestigious image of the hotel and by doing so, contributing to the profitability of the hotel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to achieving KPIs, implementing programs and demonstrating measurable returns on communication programs.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee image library maintenance ensuring photography uphold the standards as established by the corporate office.
Supervise, train, guide and mentor the department’s associates
Develop integrated marketing communications plans. This includes determining communications objectives, developing strategic initiatives and developing the message in accordance with property’s mission and objectives.
Consult and collaborate with other departments in conceptualising and developing appropriate branding/tactical campaigns towards achieving business objectives.
Act as the key media contact for crisis or issues management and is solely responsible for maintaining the crisis manual. Plan and organise media training and crisis management training for the Executive Committee.
Develop advertising plans with business objectives in mind, including selecting and developing appropriate messages for respective business segments.
Develop and manage a good local and international media network and strategies to enhance the brand image, heighten brand awareness and work towards specific measurable KPI’s. Will also be expected to maintain effective communication with major media representatives.
Manage and maintain international media liaison programme to develop property’s global branding awareness.
Plan and oversee management of department’s budget including monthly forecasting accruals of expenses.
Oversee property collateral developed, ensuring adherence to brand identity guidelines.
Other Responsibilities
Ensures that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Exercises responsible behaviour at all times to uphold the image and reputation of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hotel and department.
Supports the Mission, Purpose and Values of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
Adheres to grooming and hygiene standards set by the Hotel.
Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.

Strong strategic capabilities combined with creative tactical skills.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Minimum with 5- 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Analytical and mature with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) to effectively create appropriate positioning and messaging to targeted audiences.
