Material Control Planner

This position is responsible for material planning, supplier capacity control, PO release and supplier delivery follow up to ensure material supply meet MPS/Customer&039;s Demand and production schedule requirement. And control raw material inventory to meet division inventory target.

- Degree in business, planning, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in material controller, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
- Supplier capacity control. Identify delivery risk up front (such as suppliers’ capacity, manpower, raw materials, tooling capacity and 2nd level supplier’s risk) and resolution to ensure suppliers on time delivery. Escalate to manager for solutions and updates for any material supply risk.
- Other tasks from managers.
- Good oral and written communication in English.
- Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
- Be good at Microsoft Office, such as Excel, especially for all related excel operate formula. Best familiar with Oracle system.
- Improvement for material control such as Lead Time reduction, supplier OTD (on time delivery) improvement etc.
- Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes that affect material plans.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Release and manage Raw materials purchase orders, Customs declaration, Production MI,... other operation tasks to meet Customer&039;s Demand.
- Monitor daily delivery schedule for suppliers to arrange shipments on time. Make sure no shortage for production planning.
- Communicate in Chinese is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
