MATERIAL MANAGEMENT (PRODUCTION PLANNING)

Handle some tasks relating to yarn, greige management, wastage reports, and other analysis.
Role Description
Material Management

Manage yarn and greige inventory: maintain safety stock levels and control daily in–out–stock.
Coordinate with knitting, dyeing, and QA teams to ensure quality and production timelines.
Plan and forecast yarn requirements based on orders and production capacity.
Monitor slow- moving or excess materials and propose appropriate actions.

Waste Analysis

Collect and analyze knitting wastage data by machine, shift, and yarn type.
Prepare periodic reports on wastage rates for each production stage.
Analyze dyeing and VAP wastage against standards, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.

Other Analysis & Optimization

Analyze material- related costs and recommend solutions to reduce wastage and overall cost.
Analyze production capacity to support master production planning.
Monitor process lead times and support schedule adjustments when orders change.
Compare actual material consumption with BOM/standards and propose optimization measures.

Languages: Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
Professional Qualifications: 1 year of experience in material management, production planning, supply chain, or relevant roles within manufacturing (preferably textiles/garments).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related fields.
Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
