Mechanical Design Engineer (Robotics Industry)

Drive continuous improvement: document lessons learned, propose process optimizations and update standard work procedures.
Collaborate in English with the China- based design team to receive, review and refine robot component CAD models and technical drawings.
Adapt and localize design packages for Vietnam- based vendors, ensuring clear hand- off of SolidWorks files, BOMs and assembly instructions.
Support project proposals by estimating technical scope, cost implications and feasibility.
Validate vendor prototypes and production samples: check fit, form and function; identify and resolve mechanical or integration issues.
Act as liaison between sales, engineering and production to ensure on- time delivery and quality compliance.
Manage design change requests, version control and alignment with global engineering standards.

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet- metal forming, surface treatments).
At least 5 years’ hands- on experience in mechanical design for electronics, automation or robotics applications.
Fluent English for daily collaboration with overseas teams; Mandarin is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
Expert proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred; Inventor, CATIA or NX also acceptable).
