Middle QA/QC Engineer Automation

Maintain and update test documentation, test plans, and reusable test data sets to ensure test repeatability and coverage
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using Playwright
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to test features in an Azure- based microservices architecture
Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests across both backend services and UI components
Participate in scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives), contributing to test effort estimation
Utilize tools like Swagger/OpenAPI to analyze and understand API specifications
Perform manual testing from an end- user perspective to validate real- world scenarios and usability
Log, track, and help triage defects using systems like Jira, and assist in root cause analysis.
Verify API contracts, request/response data, error handling, and performance characteristics

Yêu cầu công việc

• 3+ years of experience in QA, with strong focus on API test automation and some exposure to manual testing
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and common API patterns
• Hands- on experience with API testing tools like Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, Karate, etc
• Experience testing microservices architectures deployed on Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Understanding of manual testing principles, exploratory testing, and usability considerations

Nice to have

Basic MongoDB and SQL knowledge for data validation and seeding data
Test reporting with Allure or built- in Playwright reporters
Familiarity with microservices testing challenges and Kubernetes is a plus
Experience working in Agile teams, using Jira, Git, and Swagger
