Network Engineer, IT Department, Head Office

Network Engineer is responsible for implementing application systems to support the bank&039;s business goals while striving for the highest quality. We aim to provide extensive system support by delivering reliable application solutions. We are looking for a dedicated Network Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and performance for our core banking system. Additionally, you will be required to align and develop Infrastructure architecture, assess business requirements, and oversee Infrastructure projects in line with IT Enterprise Architecture.
General Duties
General
- Document network configurations and support resolutions.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to end- users.
- Administer and maintain the bank&039;s network infrastructure.
Network Management
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Design, implement, and maintain network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to resolve network- related challenges.
Infrastructure Architecture
- Upgrade and manage the IT Infrastructure of the Bank.
- Develop and align Infrastructure architecture in accordance with IT solution.
- Assess requirements, design, and develop new IT Infrastructure to support business requirements.
- Manage Infrastructure projects within budgets, timelines, and with required effectiveness and efficiency.
Administrative and Compliance
- Ensure all IT services and renewals are completed on time.
- In conjunction with IT Security, develop and implement a comprehensive IT Security Policy.
- Oversee IT vendor management, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, external and internal audits, and security/regulatory certifications.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Be a part of IT committee meetings and advise Top Management on IT Projects and Strategy.
- Demonstrate leadership skills to lead the team and ensure desired performance is delivered by the team.
- Undertake any other responsibility as and when assigned by the competent authority of the bank from time to time.
- Provide key inputs to IT Controller and other Senior IT Management personnel on IT issues and Infrastructure in the banking industry.
- Develop Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Assess training requirements of the IT personnel and ensure adequate and relevant training is provided to them.
