Role Purpose:
Ensure that all cashew processing activities comply with food safety and quality standards and support the maintenance and improvement of certifications such as BRC, SMETA, HACCP and customer- specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems & Certifications:
Follow up on non- conformities, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure closure on time.
Support internal + external audits (certification audits, customer audits, social audits).
Prepare and update procedures, SOPs, forms, and records as per certification requirements.
Assist in implementing and maintaining BRC, SMETA, HACCP and other relevant standards (e.g. GMP, GHP).
Factory QA & Food Safety
Report any quality or food safety issues immediately to QA Manager / Production Supervisor.
Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and prerequisite programs (hygiene, pest control, allergen control, etc.).
Conduct line checks in sorting, packing, etc. to ensure product meets quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting
Support traceability exercises and product recall/mock recall when required.
Prepare daily/weekly QA reports on defects, complaints, rejections and share with Factory Manager.
Maintain accurate and complete QA documentation: checklists, monitoring records, calibration records, traceability records, training records,...
Training & Continuous Improvement
Propose ideas to improve product quality, yield, and compliance with standards.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and complaints.
Support training of workers on hygiene, food safety, product handling, quality standards.

Requirements:
Familiar with GMP, GHP, hygiene & sanitation requirements in food factories.
Practical experience with HACCP system and working knowledge of BRC and SMETA.
Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field will be a plus
Basic understanding of laboratory tests for food (moisture, aflatoxin, microbiology – as applicable)
2–4 years’ experience in QA/QC in a food processing factory, preferably nuts, snacks or similar.
