Job requirements

Supervising the making up of sample garments.
Create graphic material designs to clothing retailers or directly to consumers.
Amend final designs to client comments and gain full approval.
Producing concepts, creating sketches, techpacks, and patterns.
Think creatively and update new design concepts, graphics and layouts.
Study, analyze fashion trends and anticipate new designs that appeal to customers.
Prepare samples for trade shows, customer meetings.
Work with other designers or team members to create a prototype design.
Sourcing suppliers, selecting and buying fabrics and trims.

Preferred Skills

Proven graphic designing experience.
Technical skills in areas such as pattern cutting, grading and garment construction.
Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
Willingness to learn and openness for feedbacks.
To enjoy following trends in fashion and clothing.
Be creative, an eye for color, texture and pattern.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)

Qualifications

Proficient in design software
Good command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, etc.
Strong creative thinking and problem- solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
1–3 years of experience in fashion design, prefer in womenwear
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
